Practitioner Training
The Institute of Structural Medicine training is a four-year, 2,535-hour practitioner training program, culminating in certification as a Structural Medicine Specialist.TM The Structural Medicine training comes in two parts. The first part is 2.5 years (1,692 hours) graduating as a Structural Integration Practitioner. The students will then be able to apply and sit for their Massage Board License. The second part is 1.5 years (843 hours) graduating as a Structural Medicine Specialist.TM The Structural Medicine aspect of this training is customized to each client and addresses specific pathologies, painful complaints, and movement dysfunctions. You will be taught well established, proven evaluation tools found in mainstream medicine. Strength, range of motion, manual therapy and neuromuscular re-education. Additionally, we offer an optional fifth year mentoring program, as well as a progressive series of myofascial release courses, and continuing education workshops, taught by highly-regarded educators in the field of structural integration.
